David works with the media departments at
several Universities and Colleges. His
experience gained over 25 years at the BBC is
a rich source of knowledge for students from
college level to those studying for an MA.
During his time at the BBC he was involved in
the News Trainee schemes based in Bristol. He
helped devise training programmes for studio
presentation, live location presenting and
reporting as well as sports reporting and sports
commentary. Former students such as Sophie
Rayworth have gone on to report from around
the world.
He also had spells training employees at the
South African Broadcasting Corporation and
Pakistan TV. |
